Works to securise the landslide area have been completed. We therefore have the pleasure to announce the reopening of the Montenvers train, as from Thursday, July 1st. The site will be fully open.

Paragliding from Plan de l'Aiguille (not permitted in July/August). Hikes From Plan de l'Aiguille, 2317 m, for example Plan de l'Aiguille - Montenvers traverse along the Grand balcon Nord, descent to Chamonix through Blaitière alpine pastures, Lac Bleu. Climbing and Moutaineering : from the Plan de l'Aiguille, departure point for the Aiguilles de Chamonix, from l'Aiguille du Midi starting point for the Mont Blanc and other classic high-mountain routes. Off-piste skiing : the Vallée Blanche is a high mountain itinerary route on glacial terrain which is neither marked nor patrolled : it is strongly recommended to be accompagnied by a Mountain guide. The Panoramic Mont Blanc gondola offers a birds-eye view of the glacier du Géant as it traverses over to the Pointe Hellbronner in Italy. An unforgettable trip!This excursion is not included in the Mont-Blanc Multipass.
