Comprensorio di Balme

Inondato dal sole, questo comprensorio franco-svizzero trova il suo punto culminante al Col de Balme, a 2.186 m.

L'accesso avviene attraverso il centro di Tour oppure con la telecabina di Vallorcine.

Il comprensorio di Balme offre sentieri pedonali per qualsiasi livello, come la salita al rifugio Albert 1er, una passeggiata molto gradevole in una cornice di ghiaccio di ampie vedute, ma anche itinerari selvaggi attraverso alpeggi e foreste.

Da Charmillon o il Col des Posettes, numerosi itinerari di mountain bike di tutti i livelli permettono di scendere a Tour oppure a Vallorcine.

In inverno, è il comprensorio ideale per lo speed-riding.

Per quanto riguarda la ristorazione, lo chalet di Charmillon e il rifugio del Col de Balme vi accolgono in estate, mentre per i più coraggiosi, una deliziosa crostata ai mirtilli vi attende al rifugio Albert 1er.
