As usual, the programme for this major annual event includes sons et lumières [sound and light] shows, concerts and a traditional ceremony.

The Guides Festival is a unique opportunity for mountain guides to show that the bond that links them to their faithful clients and to
the people of Chamonix is stronger than just a rope. Shopkeepers, the people of Chamonix and tourists all share these days of friendship, encounters and festivities in a very friendly atmosphere.
