Works to securise the landslide area have been completed. We therefore have the pleasure to announce the reopening of the Montenvers train, as from Thursday, July 1st. The site will be fully open.

This classical trail was initiated in 1767 by the famous scientist Horace Benedict de Saussure and encompasses tremendous mountain scenery, alpine pastures, glaciers, passes and elevated routes. The tour lasts between 7 and 10 days, averaging 5 hours walk daily, between 800 m and 1000 m daily climb and crossing 3 countries : France, Italy and Switzerland.
