From north to south, the valley offers a large number of trails, the best known being the « Petits Balcons » north and south. Les Bois (2km north of Chamonix) also offers a variety of trails for all abilities. The valley's trails vary in length between 7 km and 30 km, the longest being Chamonix-Le Tour-Chamonix.
At the top of the valley on the Balme area, a downhill VTT run is reserved exclusively for bikers, whilst a second is being prepared for an exciting descent from Les Posettes to Vallorcine.
The summer lift system is perfect for gaining altitude, particularly if its the downhill thrill you're after.
The steep and varied slopes of the Brévent offer unforgettable experience overlooking a magnificent panorama.

In July and August, use the new bicycle transport service. Three vehicles specially equipped with bicycle racks, and special timetables to serve Le Tour, Col des Montets, Vallorcine and Les Houches.
