Parc animalier de Merlet
Situated at 1500 m, in front of the Mont Blanc,face au Mont-Blanc, the animal park of Merlet is a magnificent 50 acres park where ibex, chamois, marmots, stags, deers, hinds and llamas move around in freedom !
Snack and drink stall, panoramic restaurant. Continuous video projection on Alpine fauna / Exhibitions
Several features take place every day in summer :
- Antlers and horns > Learn all about the antler cycle and determine the age, sex, and health of animals by observing their horns and antlers / 2.30pm
- Reading the landscape > Observe the alpine stages with your own eyes, see their fauna and flora, valley urbanisation...
- Exhibition "the age of wood" > How did people live in chalets in the previous century ?
- Projection of the movie "4 seasons".
- Marmots snack.
