Gastronomie mit Ideen !

Zu Tisch beruft sich Chamonix auf eine rustikale Küche mit Kartoffeln, Käse und Wurst, ganz nach den Traditionen Savoyens. Besonders schmackhaft sind Gratin, Fondue, Raclette, Tartiflette und sonstige Gerichte mit Rebolochonkäse. Nicht zu vergessen ist der famose Farçon: eine Spezialität mit geriebenen Kartoffeln, Speck, Trockenpflaumen, Korinthen, Sahne und Eiern.
Aber auch hier hat der Tourismus der Stadt ein breit gefächertes, kulinarisches Angebot hinterlassen. Es gibt Gerichte aus aller Welt (italienische, chinesische, japanische, indische und mexikanische Küche ...) und einfallsreiche Restaurants, die bei der Zusammenstellung von örtlichen Traditionen und ortsfremden gastronomischen Einflüssen eine glückliche Hand haben.
