Téléphérique des Grands Montets

From the village of Argentière, the Lognan cable car 1972 m and Grands Montets cablecar 3300 m, will transport you into the realm of rugged high moutain scenery at the foot of the Aiguille Verte.

An exceptionnal viewpoint point over the Argentière glacier, the Drus, the Aiguilles Rouges and the Mont Blanc.

Winter activities
- Exceptional vertical drops, famous pistes and tremendous glacier skiing have given the Grands-Montets its prestigeous reputation. A resort of international renown due to the extent and variety of its itineraries. The geographical situation plus snow canons on the lower slopes permit the ski area to remain open until the beginning of May.
- Artificial snow and the geographical situation allow the opening of the ski domain until the beginning of May.
- New snowpark available for snowboarders !

Summer activities
- Hikes from Lognan such as : Point de Vue, descent to the Lavancher and Argentière.
- Mountain biking from Lognan, descent to the Lavancher.
- Paragliding from the Grands Montets.
- Climbing and Mountaineering, departure point for all the high peaks in the Argentière basin. For further information please contact the Office de Haute Montagne.
