Transport within the Chamonix Valley

Carte d'hôte

On presentation of your guest card, you can travel free of charge on the local Chamonix Bus network (excluding the night bus) and also on the train between Servoz and Vallorcine. This card is delivered by your host/accommodation provider upon your arrival.

Chamonix Bus

The local Chamonix bus network services the entire Chamonix Valley from the village of Servoz to the village of Le Tour. It also provides access to all the different lift areas.

Park your car, take the bus !

To go to the different ski resorts around Chamonix-Mont-Blanc Valley, we recommend you park your vehicle in one of the downtown parking lots and take the bus.

Les Mulets

These environmentally friendly mini-buses operate in high-season in the town centre. They run every 10 minutes.

Train Mont-Blanc Express

The Mont Blanc Express train line makes travelling between Saint-Gervais les Bains le Fayet and Vallorcine very easy, via the villages of Les Houches, Chamonix and Argentière. It extends into Switzerland to the city of Martigny.
With an average of a train per hour and 18 stops, take a nice and easy ride along this beautiful valley. (Journeys between Servoz and Vallorcine are free with the guest card)
Connecting TGV trains to Annecy and Geneva.
