The Balme area has in summer nice paths for all leves such as the path up to the Albert I mountain hut, a very pleasant walk in a giant-scale glacier setting, but also routes in the wild through pastures and forests!
From Charmillon to Col des Posettes pass, several mountain bike trails for all levels take you down to the villages of Le Tour and Vallorcine.
Where to eat: The Chalet de Charamillon and the mountain chalet at the Col de Balme pass welcome you in summer and a delicieus blueberry tart awaits the more courageous at the Albert I mountain hut.
