The Col de Balme is located on the frontier between France and Switzerland, between the Chamonix valley and the Trient Valley. It peaks at 2,191 m.


DescriptionIn summer, the Col de Balme is used by many hikers for the Tour du Mont Blanc. This Col is directly accessible by foot from the village of Le Tour, or via the ski lifts opened on summer to practice hiking.
