Alpine pastures on the Montagne de Blaitière overlooking the valley. Fantastic views of the Chamonix Aiguilles.

Starting from the Grepon car park at the bottom of the Aiguille du Midi, follow the signs to the Pre du Rocher and you will see the alpins pastures and the old chalets of Blaitière-Dessous (1708m) 2h. if you carry on to the end of the forest, you will see the meadows of Blaitière-Dessus against a backdrop of Chamonix Aiguilles. After a pretty mountain walk on the slope of Mont-Blanc, you will enter the Alpage guided by the sounds of the bells worn by the Herens cows and Savoie goats.

Others itineraries are available from "les Planards" car park, le Grand Balcon Nord or the mid station of Aiguille du Midi lift.
