A somewhat technical trail from the centre of Chamonix to Les Tines then back to Chamonix.
A more athletic loop that takes paths and tracks through Le Bouchet wood.
The route runs along the left bank of the Arveyron torrent before climbing up to La Norvège and doing several loops in this magical spot.
The trail follows some small roads and paths through the hamlets to Les Tines. From Les Tines, it passes under the railway and carries on along the right bank of the Arve back towards Chamonix.
It passes close to Le Paradis des Praz (ne careful: there are a lot of pedestrians on this section), before arriving at the golf course then heads back into Le Bouchet wood, via the hamlet of Les Gaudenays. Then back to the Maison Nordique via Le Bouchet wood.
Helmet and protective gear highly recommended; mountain bikes must be equipped with a suitable braking system.
A mountain biking trail guide is available from the bike rental shops around the valley and the Tourist Offices.
