A technical trail between Le Tour and Vallorcine .

Loop starting in Le Tour. Get there via the track or take the cable car to the Charamillon cable car drop-off point. Continue along the track towards Col des Posettes. Head down the path to Vallorcine, passing through Les Esserts to reach Chef-Lieu (SNCF train station). Then go up to Col des Montets.
This trail follows a path between the meadows (be sure to respect the farmers and their work) to Le Buet, then takes a lovely path with a few rocky sections to Col des Montets.
The protected Aiguilles Rouges nature reserve is nearby and not accessible to mountain bikes. Head down via departmental road 1506 to the hamlet of Tré-Le-Champs. Then take the path to Montroc. Follow the tarmac road and cross the River Arve. Go up the path on the left bank of the Arve to Le Tour.

Helmet and protective gear highly recommended; mountain bikes must be equipped with a suitable braking system.

A mountain biking trail guide is available from the bike rental shops around the valley and the Tourist Offices.
