Scenic viewpoint overlooking Mont-Blanc at the edge of the Aiguilles Rouges
and Carlaveyron Nature Reserves.

From the Route des Moussoux, take the Montee des Moentieux as far as the Petit Balcon Sud . Cross this footpath and follow the winding path, leading up through the undergrowth until you meet the trail coming from the Bois Prin and les Bossons. Take the path to the right through the forest and across an avalanche gully to Plan-Lachat (ruins) (1 576 m) 1 h 30. Leaving the Gardes footpath on your right, continue through the clearing and into the forest. The path takes you past a big bell tower peeping out above the trees and then winds its way on upwards until it comes out at Bel Lachat.
